The Department of Healthcare Management is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time, tenure track, faculty position with responsibility as a chair to teach Healthcare Management courses on-ground and online at our main campus at Saint Leo, Florida.
This is a nine (9) month, full-time faculty appointment at the Assistant/Associate rank.
Department Chair responsibilities typically include working an additional one to two months during the summer. Additional compensation, stipend(s), and/or course-release may apply while serving in this capacity, which will be determined by the Dean or Associate Dean.
Review of candidate materials begins immediately for anticipated start date of January or August 2015. To apply, submit letter of introduction documenting successful teaching experience; curriculum vitae; three letters of recommendation (all should be professional references and at least one from a recent superior); values statement (500 words or less) and teaching philosophy (500 words or less), which highlights how your teaching and administrative philosophy and practices fit the Mission and Values of Saint Leo University; official transcripts (including WES evaluation if from an international university); and student evaluations from the last year (at least six classes, an even mix of graduate and undergraduate).
An exceptional candidate possessing a doctorate degree with experience may be considered at the Associate level.

Previous experience in teaching traditional and non-traditional age students at undergraduate and graduate level.
Knowledge of healthcare industry, academic administration, and specialized accreditation requirements for health related curriculum is plus.
