The Department of Sport Business, International Tourism and Hospitality Management is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time, tenure track faculty position to teach Hospitality and Tourism courses at our main campus in Saint Leo, Florida located less than 30 minutes northeast of Tampa and 60 minutes southwest of Orlando.
This is a nine (9) month, full-time faculty appointment at the Instructor/Assistant/ Associate rank, with possible additional summer internship supervision opportunities available.
Review of candidate materials begins immediately for anticipated start date of August 2015. An exceptional candidate possessing a doctorate degree with experience may be considered at the Associate level.
A candidate possessing a master’s degree with 18 graduate study hours in the discipline and demonstrated teaching with appropriate years of experience in higher education may be considered at the Instructor level.

To be considered at the Assistant or Associate Professor level the faculty member must possess a terminal degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution with credentials to teach courses per Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) guidelines.
Candidates with a Master’s degree Tourism, Hospitality, or closely related that includes 18 credits at the graduate level in discipline, or are currently working on their doctoral degree (including ABD status) may be considered at the Instructor level.
Candidates possessing a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 hours of graduate study and/or credentials to teach hospitality and tourism courses may be considered at the instructor level.
