School of Business

Program Manager will support the Office of Graduate Studies in Business.

Basic Function:

Develop, implement and execute processes to interact with Doctoral Students as they proceed through the program including applications, intersessions and dissertation.

Recruit, hire and train adjunct faculty to support Graduate Studies in Business DBA program.

Coordinate scheduling and academic issues with Chairs and Faculty.

Orientate graduate business students via GSB ORI – Student Orientation course.

Recruit, hire, train and manage graduate research assistants in the Office of Graduate Studies in Business. Research assistants support graduate research and report directly to DBA Graduate Academic Advisor.

Identify opportunities for continuous process improvements within the Office of Graduate Studies in Business and direct the implementation of processes while increasing student service and satisfaction.

Maintain the graduate business handbooks for staff and students to ensure these reflect the current policies, practices and procedures within the Office of Graduate Studies in Business.

Establish and maintain a 2 year program/faculty plan that ensures faculty capacity for graduate program expansion.

Undertake other duties as assigned by the Assistant Dean and Assistant Director of Graduate Studies in Business.

This position reports to the Assistant Dean, Graduate Studies in Business.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

Knowledge of higher education; Ability to work in a team environment; Ability to prioritize work and manage time; Demonstrated ability to use computer programs: Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet

Master of Business Degree

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
