The Asian Cuisine cook will report to the Executive Chef and assist other cooks in daily food preparation. Candidate will have a working knowledge of food preparation skills and cooking techniques, including cooking on an Mongolian Grill. Knowledge of Mongolian, Chinese, and Asian cooking. The Asian Cuisine cook must be able to follow recipes, prepare suaces, noodle and rice dishes,and specialty Asian meat and vegetable cuts.
Clean kitchen equipment and kitchen area.
Ability to provide excellent customer service and perform other tasks as assigned or required.
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers.
Ability to comprehend, carry out and explain complex verbal and written instructions.
Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen equipment.
Season and cook food according to recipes.
Observe and test food to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
Portion, arrange, and garnish foods.
Assist other cooks during rush periods or when required.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Two years practical food service/restaurant with Asian cooking experience.
