The Associate Dean, Continuing Education reports to the Dean, Continuing Education and is responsible for establishing a customer base and developing strong internal and external relationships to provide and manage customized workforce training programs for business and industry to facilitate economic development.
*Establish strong client base
*Develop relationships with area economic development organizations
*Develop clear and effective training plans, consistent with program requirements, that effectively facilitate workforce training goals of clients (outcome-based)
*Supervise contract instructional staff
*Supervise contract delivery
*Develop and monitor contract and grant budgets
*Monitor contract revenue
*Implement College policies and procedures in unit activities.
*Collaborate with workforce and economic development organizations
1. Bachelor’s degree in related area; Master’s degree preferred.
2. Two years (4,000 hours) occupational experience outside the area of education.
3. Two years (full-time equivalency) teaching experience.
4. Proven revenue generation and sales experience required, preferably in manufacturing.
5. Supervisory experience required.
6. Experience in developing training programs for business and industry preferred.
Management Grade 9
$65,366 per year
