Detailed Job Description

Responsible for the operation of all graduate programs, overseeing a team of employees. In addition, the Director will work closely with the Faculty Graduate Program Coordinator to assure the effective delivery of programs. The successful candidate will be expected to network with regional companies to recruit students, place graduates, secure graduate projects and assure relevance of the Woodbury School’s graduate programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline plus three years of staff level experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling seven years.

Knowledge

Knowledge of business practices and procedures. Knowledge of marketing techniques.
Knowledge of community network creation.
Knowledge of moderate budgeting procedures and techniques.
Knowledge of college recruiting programs and methods, techniques and procedures of University recruitment.
Knowledge of career planning, career and internship services.

Skills

Superior interpersonal skills, team management skills, organizational and time management skills.
Skill in financial management, supervisory skills and Excellent communications skills: listening, writing and speaking.
Strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills.

Abilities

Ability to develop community networks through involvement in business related advisory boards, chambers, etc.
