Incumbents collect, analyze and summarize data for assigned assessment programs, and provide direction to lower level institutional advancement staff. Responsibilities may include designing assessments for assigned programs; managing survey instruments; compiling information for comprehensive academic program reviews; analyzing datasets and preparing summaries; evaluating and verifying data reports and studies; verifying the accuracy of assigned database(s) and college reporting systems through audits; and performing the duties of the lower levels.
Bachelor’s degree in statistics or in a related field to assigned area. Advanced degree preferred.
Five (5) years experience in statistical analysis or applied research.

1.Designs assessments, compiles data and completes reports and studies to meet institutional and external requirements covering student, faculty, courses/programs, assessment, demographics, and other factors as requested; determines type of analysis and report style needed.
2.Determines what survey requests should be completed, instruments needed for projects, and methods of administration.
3.Extracts, manipulates, and processes data utilizing a variety of resources; performs basic and complex statistical computations and analyses, aligns analyses with the strategic objectives of the College; and provides advice on implications of results.
4.Prepares a variety of reports related to strategic planning, which includes gathering and assembling a variety of data; and prepares and submits reports addressing external reporting requirements.
5.Collaborates with campus leaders to identify data needed for effectively setting priorities and decision making processes.
6.Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

Key Position Information:
The Centers of Excellence in Elementary Education $5,000,000 Grant was awarded by the Florida Department of Education. The purpose of the grant is to assist pre-service kindergarten to grade 5 (K-5) teachers both in increasing content knowledge in the core subject areas and enhancing the field experience in the final internship.
The incumbent of this position will:
1) Oversee the quality of the data and assure that it is entered and tracked in a timely manner
2) Build internal process systems to review information and critical elements to review and compare data
3) Produce annual, semester and ad-hoc reports as required
4) Work with Dean of the College of Education, Grant Director, and the grant partners to identify, develop, and implement appropriate tools and strategies to monitor and assess program effectiveness
5) Work with the Dean of the College of Education, Grant Director, and other appropriate entities to develop and deliver improvement plan and opportunities
6) Provide reports to the Florida Department of Education as required
The incumbent of this position must have a strong statistical background. Prior experience working with a College of Education or School District is preferred. Knowledge of Florida Department of Education accreditation standards is preferred.
