PROVOST and VICE PRESIDENT OF ACADEMIC AFFAIRS
Tri-County Technical College, a public two-year community and technical college located in the Upstate of South Carolina, is in search of a Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs that will report to the President and serves as Chief Academic Officer for the College. The Primary responsibilities include planning, development, implementation and evaluation of all credit instructional programs as well as the planning, management, and coordination of all resources needed to support these programs. Provides overall direction, vision, guidance for all credit divisions, enrollment management, student development, and academic resources (community campuses, Library, Tutoring, Advising, Student Records). Assist in the planning and development of funding proposals which support instructional and student services programs. Assist in the implementation and evaluation of projects and/or programs supported by special funding from state, federal or private sources. Serve as a member on Executive Staff in an advisory role to the President. Represent the College at various state and local events such as the statewide peer groups and other functions as needed. Work with other institutions of higher education on collaborations involving credit curricula and programs.
A doctoral degree plus seven years of progressively responsible related work experience required. Five years teaching experience in higher education preferred.

The Tri-County Technical College service area includes Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties. The College is also part of a state-wide system of sixteen technical colleges. More than 7,000 students enroll at the College each year in more than 70 major fields of study, including engineering technology, industrial technology, business, computer and information technology, public service, human services, healthcare, and university transfer programs. Developmental courses are offered for those who need to brush up on basic academic skills. The Continuing Education Division also offers personal and professional development non-credit classes in technical, business, healthcare, and personal interest areas to more than 10,000 community members each year.
