The Bentley University Department of English and Media Studies is currently seeking an adjunct instructor to teach the following literature course:
Forms of Nonfiction: This course examines the most protean of literary forms, the essay, and explores its development into a flexible medium capable of reflecting on personal matters as well as sports, business, politics, food, and science exploration. Authors are chosen by the instructor, and have included such writers as Michel de Montaigne and Samuel Johnson as well as contemporary American writers such as Annie Dillard and Stephen Jay Gould. The theme varies from year to year. This course has already been scheduled and filled. It meets Mon/Thurs., 12:45-2:00 PM.
