Manage Affiliate Faculty onboarding and pay processes.
Work with the University’s departments in initiating and processing of Affiliate Faculty contracts and conduct training sessions.
Coordinator of HRIS systems involving process, development, and maintenance of applicant tracking system.

50% Affiliate Faculty
Onboard new Affiliates – initiate background to setup in HRIS system, Banner, with new hire paperwork.
Initiating and processing Affiliate jobs/pay including amendments/adjustments additionally cross-checking and completeness by deadline.
Develop, administer, and deliver Affiliate process training.
Customer service of Affiliate questions via email, phone, and walk-in.
Work closely with counterpart HR Generalist to ensure seamless and unified Affiliate process; ensure multi-department acknowledgment of Affiliate workload.
PeopleAdmin problem-solver; Develop and refine process and improvements based on issues and new module/s.
Create and update PeopleAdmin training documents and assist in training sessions.
Post-pay process review and reallocation initiation.
Manage Affiliate email listserv lists: 7.
Setup of Affiliate pay schedule in Banner.
Manage and create Affiliate position codes in Banner.
Work with Budget and OIR on monthly, term, and annual mandated reports.
Coordinate with appropriate personnel on specialized data reports.
5% Other duties
Backup coverage for HR Office Coordinator.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 2 years of experience performing HR and/or payroll related duties.
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, related field and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. ( one year of education is equivalent to two years of experience)
Current MSU Denver employee.
Please note that 2 two years of experience equals one year of education.
Experience using Banner, PeopleAdmin, or other related HRIS/ATS software.
Experience in coordinating multiple work priorities in a high volume department.
Demonstrated experience providing excellent customer service.
Experience working in a team, and independently with minimal instruction.
