Detailed Job Description

The Program Manager provides oversight and planning for the development, implementation, and delivery of a program(s).

Additional Department Summary:

The CRC Program Manager will be responsible for the overall daily administration of the program. The incumbent will build and maintain effective relationships and serve as liaison with campus academic advisors for shared courses with CRC students. The Program Manager will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and oversight as well as evaluation of CRC student engagement activities that promote citizenship, healthy relationships, and socialization for sober living; this includes student activities and service projects. This person will respond to student inquiries about university and programmatic issues as well as assist with paperwork for both the university and Collegiate Recovery Community. The incumbent will monitor student compliance with all policies and procedures related to the University and the Collegiate Recovery Community for those in the program and supervise student workers and volunteers that support the program. The individual will support students with their recovery, education, and life issues while working under the leadership of the CRC Director to assure the anonymity of all students in research/evaluation activities. The Program Manager will answer email, phone, and related correspondence with interested students, parents of students in recovery, potential donors, and other campus, local, state, or national community members under the leadership of the Director. The Program Manager will implement a UA/CRC Alumni network and maintain regular correspondence with alumni, which includes tracking recovery progress after graduation for future research. Keeping all alumni records and personal information updated is an important function. Teaching workshops on study skills, time management, and other related topics to students in recovery during weekly seminar meetings is also an expectation. There will be direct contact with students on a daily basis, frequent contact with relevant professional staff, advisors, directors across campus to meet the needs of collaborative experiences for students and the promotion of academic success for the students involved. The Program Manager acts as Director when the CRC Director is unavailable. Required Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of experience, OR a Master's degree and some experience.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

Participation in a recovery program may be considered as experience. Student or Graduate Assistant, Intern, or student oriented experience will be considered.To be considered student experience, it must be detailed in the employment section on the application.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to candidates with experience working as a volunteer in community /other service related programs, experience working in the substance abuse field or as a volunteer or with AL Anon and/or previous experience with a Collegiate Recovery Community. 58 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 37065.60 Midpoint - $ 53747.16
