To assist Academic Tutoring Director with the oversight, delivery and assessment of STEM academic support programs including drop in tutoring, group tutoring and course review, and supplemental instruction.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in directly related field of study or a combination of education and experience totaling four years.
Masters degree preferred. Experience with learning center best practices preferred.
Knowledge and experience with budget management and tracking.
Skill in use of computers and computer applications.
Skill in tracking and managing statistics and information needed for decision-making and program improvement
Skill and ability to foster professional and working relationships with students, faculty, staff and administration.
Ability to identify program needs and to utilize available resources.
Ability to be self-directed and complete tasks without supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Ability to develop and implement a variety of support systems, programs, and initiatives related to student success.
Must possess a high degree of professionalism, initiative, creativity tact and confidentiality.
