Detailed Job Description

The Broadcast Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining a range of broadcast and IT equipment and provides technical advice and expertise to operational and program activities. Responsible for the overall technical quality and transmission of the broadcast. May be responsible for technology planning and budgeting.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Television, Communication, Film or other relevant field and 3 years of broadcast or relevant experience OR any equivalent combination of experience, training, education and/or certification from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been obtained. Excellent mechanical/electrical skills for connectors, wiring, etc. Understanding of Audio/videos connections and technology. Understanding of various pieces of broadcast equipment such as clip servers, replay equipment, tape decks etc. Strong knowledge of broadcast operations. Valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable motor vehicle report as determined by the insurance carrier. 58 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 37065.60 Midpoint - $ 53747.16
