The Department of English and Media Studies at Bentley University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of English in Composition and Rhetoric. We seek a candidate with a record of publication and active research agenda, a record of excellence in undergraduate teaching, and evidence of administrative experience with writing programs. The candidate will join a department that includes creative writers, media practitioners, literary scholars, rhetorical scholars and cinema and media studies scholars.

Salary, benefits and teaching load are competitive. Bentley's pleasant campus is located in a Boston suburb, close to Cambridge.

Position Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. in Composition and Rhetoric. Applicants must have degree in hand on or before July 1, 2015.
