Detailed Job Description
The Card Program Administrator is responsible for overseeing all functions of the Bentley University Card Office, which includes distribution of Bentley ID cards to students, faculty, staff, guests and contractors; assignment of meal plans, Falcon Funds and other monies to the ID card as well as the collection of these funds; assignment of building clearance and access; distribution of parking decals and passes; entering of parking decal registration data and violation notices into University database and the coordination of parking ticket appeals; overseeing key control access for the university reviewing and approving key requests, authorizing and issuing keys to employees per the university's key control policy.
Additional Description of Duties:
Code and issue identification cards to students, faculty, staff and visitors for building clearance, meal plan, Falcon funds and debit vending operations on campus.
Coordinate the collection and processing of all cash and check deposits associated with Falcon Funds, student meal plans that are programmed through the ID cards and facilitate deposits of these funds at the Cashier's Office.
Coordinate electronic access into buildings for resident students, faculty and staff; facilitate access to alarmed areas on campus for those approved for such clearance and coordinate the scheduling of repairs to the equipment (card readers) associated with the University's electronic access system (C-Cure 9000).
Coordinate the distribution of parking decals and permits to students, faculty, staff and visitors; administer the data entry of all parking permits and parking violations into the department's ARMS parking database so that fees and fines can be collected and coordinate the scheduling of parking ticket appeals.
Responsible for annually publishing and editing the University's parking, rules and regulations pamphlet and maintain the department's web page associated with these rules and regulations.
Associate's degree (or equivalent credits) in a business/computer discipline plus 5 years of related experience.
Strong interpersonal skills and customer service mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess the ability to quickly learn complex software applications governing building card access protocols.
Must be able to balance revenue ledgers and submit reports for the University's finance and audit personnel.
License(s) Required for the Position
Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted United States driver's license, with an insurable driving history as determined by Bentley's insurance carrier.
