The Legal Director of the Alabama Disabilities Advocacy Program (ADAP) acts as the program's lead attorney by representing ADAP's clients, supervising the casework of the program's staff/senior attorneys and clinical/fellowship law students, and directing all litigation efforts. Additionally, the Legal Director assists in the development of legal strategies to accomplish ADAP's goals and serves on ADAP's management team.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Juris Doctorate with a minimum of three (3) years practicing law with a specialty in disability law or other relevant area including at least one (1) year of supervisory/management experience.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

Valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable motor vehicle report as determined by the insurance carrier. 60 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 49878.36 Midpoint - $ 72321.60
