Detailed Job Description

Assist students and faculty with video and audio production and radio station operation in a fast paced, academic environment and help with operations of the broadcast facilities as needed

Specific Duties

Assist students in radio and TV with technical questions with camera, lighting, audio and editing.
Assist students in on air radio station and in radio production studios.
Assist faculty with video equipment in classes. Conduct training for students in camera, lighting, audio set up and in video editing.
Assist with set up and production of remote production truck, and radio remote production equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

Excellent verbal communications skills
Two years experience in video production and or radio/audio production
Bachelors degree in television or radio production or related major desirable.
Knowledge of Adobe Premiere or AVIC Media Composer or Final Cut 7 or X video editing software required.
Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and related software programs desirable.
Background in teaching or public access desirable.
