University’s Advancement team is currently seeking an Annual Giving Coordinator to assist with the implementation of a comprehensive Annual Giving program to increase participation and financial supprt to the University of La Verne’s Annual Fund. The Annual Giving Coordinator will work closely with the Assistant Director of Annual Giving and will report to the Director, Leadership Annual Giving.

The Annual Giving Coordinator will be principally charged with assisting in the coordination of a comprehensive Annual Giving program by administering annual fundraising programs including: organizing a targeted multichannel program and all subsequent data requests, coordinating the University student philanthropy initiatives, act as a liaison between the Annual Giving staff and the phonathon team and assist with coordinating the University’s giving societies including maintaining accurate tracking records and provide frequent reports and analysis of Annual Giving solicitations and contributions. The Annual Giving Coordinator will also work closely with the University’s Office of Strategic Communication to coordinate a cohesive annual marketing effort to increase annual gifts through advertising, publications, social networking and events related to the Annual Giving program. Must be capable of writing messages and content on Annual Giving printed, electronic and verbal script materials. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of University programs and priorities; performs other job related duties as assigned.

Specific Duties

Coordinates multiple Annual Giving priorities and projects while maintaining attention to detail.

Maintains accurate tracking records and provides reports and analysis on Annual Giving fundraising efforts.

Acts as a liaison between the Annual Giving staff and Phonathon team.

Develops copy for Annual Giving printed, electronic and verbal script materials.

Coordinates the University’s giving societies, including managing memberships and assisting with stewardship activities.

Works collaboratively with a variety of campus offices and departments.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree
3 years of progressive development experience.
The successful candidate will have high comfort level with data, data analysis and relational database software. Must emcompass traits of good judgment, excellent grammar, writing and verbal communication skills required, confidentiality and discretion in communicating with colleagues and constituents.

Proven ability to use MS Office Suite, Microsoft Outlook, and high level comfort with and knowledge of social media, web design and management.
