The ITS Communications Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the external and internal communication efforts for MSU Denver Information Technology Services (ITS); working with ITS colleagues to design and implement communication plans and campaigns for ITS events and projects; serving as the primary contact and coordinator for MSU Denver Marketing and Communications; coordinating, in collaboration with ITS colleagues and others, the continuous development and ongoing management of the ITS website; staying informed about new communication techniques and leverage existing techniques in new ways to help meet ITS’s communication needs.
This individual also will work with ITS personnel to disseminate technical information to a diverse constituent base with varying degrees of technical expertise using a variety of media and mechanisms. The constantly changing environment of the instructional and information technology environment requires the development and maintenance of a variety of mechanisms by which crucial information can be distributed.
The ITS Communications Coordinator reports to the Chief Information Officer and is a member of the ITS Leadership Team.

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Marketing, or a related field; and at least 3 years of comparable professional experience with developing communications related to technology-oriented services.
Experience in a higher education environment is highly preferred.
