Supervises student services specialist located in the Answer Center, who work with students concerning admissions requirements, graduation procedures, and general financial aid information.

1. Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution [required]; master's degree preferred. 2. Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably a two-year college. 3. A demonstrated commitment to diversity. 4. Acceptable eyesight (with/without correction aid).

Essential Job Functions
1. Manages day-to-day functions of the Answer Center. 2. Makes hiring recommendations, trains and supervises Answer Center staff. 3. Understands student systems and relational databases to assist in the analysis and resolution of systemic problems and concerns related to operations of the Answer Center. 4. Collaborates with admissions and records, business office and financial aid staff on processes and system improvements. 5. Assists Dean of Students with student discipline. 6. Provides evaluation reports regarding progress in achieving measurable student services outcomes of program quality and student performance. 7. Makes recommendations to the Dean of Students on matters related to student needs. 8. Maintains communications with student services on campus with direction from the Dean of Students. 9. Provides leadership on assigned councils and committees, and represents Student Services to various college and non-college groups. 10. Participates in implementing college policies, guiding principles, objectives, and functions in accordance with the philosophy of the College. 11. Assumes responsibility for the suspension and 4th attempt process for students. Oversees special programs implemented in Answer Center. 12. Other duties as assigned.
