Detailed Job Description

The Instructional Coordinator, School of Health Sciences, assists the Department Chairs and Directors and the Dean with the development, organization, review and implementation of the school's instructional programs  

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; strong liberal arts background with a concentration in a health-related or legal field preferred.

Minimum of three years of program or project management experience, health-related work or higher education experience, or legal-related responsibilities required.

Demonstrated organizational, multitasking and administrative skills.

Demonstrated knowledge of web page content management, computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets and database management software.

Ability to work independently with attention to accuracy, details and deadlines.

Ability to deal tactfully and professionally with students, administrators, faculty, staff, health care facilities, personnel and the public.

Willingness and ability to work flexible hours to accommodate the needs of the School, including occasional evening and weekend hours.  

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team setting and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Ability to work on a team, assuming leadership roles when required.

Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
