Detailed Job Description

The Workplace Education Project Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of a multi-year, comprehensive customer service training program for Maryland Transit Administration's (MTA) operations staff. Duties include, but are not limited to: acting as the main point of contact with the MTA on the project, supervising other project staff, conducting focus group meetings, coordinating various logistical details preparing various reports, and other duties as required to support the needs of the project.  

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.

Four years of experience in staff supervision, program development and/or coordination, required.

Two years of experience in organizing and managing focus groups or similar types of meetings, required.

Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to deal effectively and in partnership with diverse groups, including students, faculty, administrators, staff, the educational community, the business community, governmental agencies and the public.

Willingness to work evenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of the department.

Willingness to travel to various agencies in, and around, Baltimore City.  

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree.
