The Mathematics Department at Stonehill College invites applications for two assistant professor positions, one tenure-track appointment and one three-year renewable appointment to begin July 2015. These faculty members would join a department of four full-time faculty with a wide range of disciplinary expertise and a commitment to fostering diversity among faculty and students.
We seek applicants who are committed to excellence in teaching, advising, and mentoring undergraduates in research, and who have a demonstrated awareness of the importance of diversity in education.
Primary duties include teaching all levels of mathematics, advising students, college and departmental service, and maintaining an appropriate research agenda.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in mathematics or applied mathematics.
Preference will be given to those who have some undergraduate teaching experience.
