The Communication Department at Wheaton College (IL) invites applications for two Visiting Assistant Professor appointments to begin in August 2012. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach one or more of the following: rhetorical criticism, digital reality, social networking, globalization, and research methods. Both positions require excellent teaching in our general education public speaking courses. These are one-year replacement appointments (although one position will be advertised as tenure track in fall 2012 and reapplication will be required). Applicants should have a Ph.D. and be committed to excellence in both teaching and research. ABDs will be considered.
