Decision Sciences/Business Analytics
The Department of Management invites applications for a tenure-track position to begin August 2015. The position is subject to final authorization from the University. Requirements include an earned doctorate from an AACSB accredited college or school of business (those in the final stage of dissertation completion will be considered). Candidates’ primary emphasis should be in the area of Decision Sciences or Quantitative Analysis. Successful candidates will also have teaching expertise in operations management. A strong interest in both undergraduate and graduate teaching, evidence of research potential, and a capacity to support efforts to enhance the curriculum in analyticsis expected. Rank at the assistant professor level is preferred, but other ranks may be considered.
The College of Business and Economics is accredited by AACSB International at both the undergraduate and graduate level (MBA). The Department of Management offers the BBA in management and is comprised of 14 full-time faculty members.
Radford University is a public, coeducational, Carnegie Master’s I University with an enrollment of about 10,000 students. Radford is 10 miles from Blacksburg (Virginia Tech) and 36 miles southwest of Roanoke, Virginia. The university atmosphere is residential.
