Primary duties will include teaching undergraduate and graduate level accounting courses amounting to 12 credit hours per semester. In addition, service to the College and University befitting an in individual at the instructor level will be required.
The Culverhouse School of Accountancy invites applications for a non-tenure earning faculty position at the rank of instructor for the academic year beginning August 16, 2015.
Responsibilities include teaching four undergraduate classes as assigned per semester. Other responsibilities will be assigned as appropriate to further advance the program and its curriculum.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Successful candidates will at least have completed a Masters Degree in accounting and have a CPA.
Preferred candidates will have had prior teaching experience. Practitioner applicants should be active in their field and have professional experience.
This is a non-tenure earning position renewable for three-year periods at the discretion of the University with no expectation of continued employment beyond any three-year contract period. Salary is competitive.
