Full time Coordinator and Advisor for the Western Program

Duties

Advising Individualized Studies undergraduates, development of study plans for each student, connecting coursework with the Living Learning Communities inPeabody Hall. This position is responsible for organizing curricular and co curricular activities through the Western Center in Peabody Hall, and serves as a liaison with all Western alumni. Additional responsibilities extend to advising during University orientation and advising University Studies students in the College of Arts & Science. Will also assist students in exploring potential careers and this may be done in consultation with Career Services.

Basic Qualifications

Master's degree, preferably in higher education, counseling or college student personnel.

Preferred Qualifications

Documented experience in working with diverse student populations and some combination of academic advising, residence life, student development, career development and event planning.
