The Technician III for Enrollment Management will: diagnose and repair workstations for end users using diverse network topologies and protocols; maintain computers and ancillary equipment such as workstations, laptops, printers and scanners; perform regular hardware maintenance; provide computer hardware and software expertise to enrollment management end users with specific applications in the Financial Aid Department that will ensure compliance with Federal regulations; research and evaluate computer hardware and software applications; determine and recommend solutions.
Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field, plus 3 year of experience which must be directly related to the essential functions/duties of the position; OR any combination of higher education and work experience totaling 5 years, 4 of which must be directly related to the essential functions/duties of the position
Knowledge of networking topology.
Knowledge of PC environments, including desktop applications.
Knowledge of lab imaging software (Ghost) & desktop security software (Deepfreeze, etc.)
Knowledge of platform operating systems (e.g. Windows, Mac, etc.)
Knowledge of webpage development.
Knowledge of classroom automation systems (Canvas, Blackboard, LanSchool, etc.)
Skill in reading, writing and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals.
