The Physician Assistant Department at Quinnipiac University invites applications for a clinical assistant professor. This is a full-time, 12-month faculty position. Reporting directly to the Program Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for curricular aspects of the PA program.
Anticipated start date is January 2015.

The primary responsibilities of this position include: teaching with course coordination (at the graduate and undergraduate level), student advisement, and academic and professional service to the department, school, and university.
Additional responsibilities include: mentoring and the monitoring of student performance; active involvement in the PA program admissions process, active participation in maintaining PA program accreditation, involvement and leadership in PA program community outreach programs.
Minimum qualifications for this position include:
- graduation from an accredited physician assistant program,
- an earned Master’s Degree,
- at least three years current clinical experience,
- current NCCPA certification,
- eligibility and timely obtainment of physician assistant licensure in the State of Connecticut.
Teaching experience for physician assistant programs is preferred.
