Detailed Job Description

The Manager, Instructional Technology Support Services is responsible for the oversight and administration of quality control measures for online course content delivered through the Learning Management System and provides administrative leadership for technical systems and resources utilized in the delivery of distance learning programs at both the university and high school level.

Additional Department Summary:

This position is also responsible for taking an active role in the online course development process and helps to guide the team in the adoption, transition, and implementation of new emerging technologies. Coordination and administration of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and instructional computing tools; administration of customer support systems for faculty, students, and other staff members; and technical and architectural support for course/content development, data and web management.

Required Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in communication, education, business, instructional design, computer science, or other relevant field and four years of experience in instructional design, on-line learning, curriculum development, or other relevant field; or master's degree in communication, education, business, instructional design, computer science, or other relevant field with two years of experience in instructional design, on-line learning, curriculum development, or other relevant field.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

Professional work experience in technical website and application development or administration. Work experience administering learning management systems, web applications, and other technical resources for supporting distance learning environments. Valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable motor vehicle report as determined by the insurance carrier. 58 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 37065.60 Midpoint - $ 53747.16
