PART-TIME CLINICAL (MEDICAL/SURGICAL NURSING) INSTRUCTOR: (Practical Nursing Option in Nursing Program) (Division of Health Professions) (MCCC/MTA DCE Unit Position) Anticipated start date: January 20, 2015)
Clinical instruction and evaluation of practical nursing students.
Clinical: 15 hours/week, (Monday/Tuesday evenings, 3:00 – 11:00 PM)
Master’s Degree in Nursing is required for clinical teaching and current Massachusetts Registered Nursing License in good standing. A Minimum of three years full-time experience with evidence of clinical competence in the area of medical-surgical is required. Previous teaching experience in nursing education preferred, with currency in teaching/learning theory and techniques of a diverse student population. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member and knowledge of nursing curriculum design is preferred.
Salary: $71.67 per contact hour, MCCC/MTA DCE Unit Contract
