Under the general supervision of the Associate Director of Marketing, the Assistant Director of Marketing will be involved in all aspects of the department’s marketing efforts with a heavy focus on designing, implementing, analyzing and optimizing marketing campaigns through multiple channels. The ideal candidate is analytical in their approach and is able to derive actionable insights from multiple datasets.

In addition, the Assistant Director of Marketing must also be able to manage multiple projects while meeting appropriate deadlines while being up-to-date on the latest techniques and trends in marketing.

Responsibilities

-Research, design, implement analyze and optimize marketing campaigns through multiple search engine and social media marketing channels.

-Conduct multivariate testing and analyze performance to determine campaign effectiveness.

-Work with the marketing team and key stakeholders to create new & modify existing campaigns.

-Produce ad copy for use on various online advertising networks while analyzing performance and effectiveness.

-Create and execute targeted email marketing campaigns.

Qualifications & Special Instructions to Applicants

Required:

  • 3 or more years of marketing experience in an agency or similar environment
  • Must be well versed in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Retargeting. Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing and Google Analytics with a heavy emphasis on lead generation.
  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • The ability to gather relevant information systematically, considers a broad range of factors, relationships and accurately applies logic to analysis and conclusions
  • The ability to use Excel spreadsheets for complex data analysis, forecasting and modeling
  • Experience with marketing technology tools to support lead generation and servicing
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills required
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment when required
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task while working under deadlines
  • Ability to source, identify, and manage external marketing vendor relationships

Technical Skills

  • Superior Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook skills required
  • Ability to edit images and graphics in Adobe Photoshop
  • HTML and CSS skills desired
