FULL-TIME STAFF ASSISTANT TO THE VICE PRESIDENT OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE/CFO: Haverhill Campus. 37.5 hours per week (Non-unit Professional Position). Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.

Managing the calendar for the vice president of administration and finance/cfo is a crucial charge for this position. Provide administrative support while performing a wide range of duties to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations in the vice president’s office. Prepares Board of Trustee Audit & Finance Committee materials and takes clear and concise minutes of each meeting. Prepare materials for meetings and conferences, including maintaining relevant documentation and other material. Provide follow-up information on a variety of subjects. Acts as a liaison to staff, faculty, students, deans, and other constituents, both internal and external. Support the President’s Office when needed. Performs other duties as required to ensure the seamless operation and responsiveness of the Office of the Vice President of Administration & Finance/CFO.

  • Must have five or more years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or Staff Assistant to a senior member of management.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Associates Degrees required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, especially Microsoft Outlook, managing senior level calendar is a top priority.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel comfortable using spreadsheets and working with figures and budgets.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
  • Shows significant independent judgment in identifying and resolving potential conflicts.
  • Ability to record clear, concise minutes required.
  • High level of independent judgment, discretion, confidentiality and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Must be a dedicated team player and have established ability to manage multiple, time sensitive projects with the capacity to prioritize and work under deadlines.
  • Must have the ability to interact with all levels of the college (including senior leadership) and beyond. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

SALARY: $40,000.00 - $50,000 with complete fringe benefit package; Actual salary will commensurate with academic background and experience.
