Position: Clinical Assistant Professor of School Psychology (Non-Tenure Track)

The initial appointment will be for the Spring 2015 semester with the prospect of the appointment becoming a three year renewable non-tenure earning position. This position will be renewed annually based on performance and funding.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Earned doctorate in School Psychology from NASP-approved and/or APA accredited program.
  • Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP).
  • Experience in teaching graduate courses as a faculty member or graduate teaching assistant
  • Potential to develop online and other distance learning options for graduate education.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of successful experience in higher education teaching in school psychology, preferably using distance delivery systems.
  • Licensed in psychology (or eligible for licensure) at the doctoral level by a state board of psychology or certified in school psychology (or eligible for certification) by a state board of education.
  • Two or more years experience as a practitioner in school psychology or as a practitioner in a related field.
  • Record of integrating technology into teaching

Responsibilities:

  • Teach graduate courses in the Ed.S. program in school psychology in a hybrid program (combining online and intensive on-campus classes) .
  • Responsible for recruitment, implementation, and management for the hybrid Ed.S. program in school psychology throughout the calendar year.
  • Responsible for continued development and refinement of the hybrid Ed.S. program in school psychology.
