Under the supervision of the Director of Web & Interactive Design, the Web Graphic Designer, has responsibility to develop graphics, design and multimedia used on the web, potentially including animation and video. Interprets needs, and determines solutions for the web including, motion graphics, design, UX/UI, and multimedia production. Implements solutions in coordinating with the Web Development department to code and program web sites.
High school diploma or equivalent education plus six months to one year of related experience is required.
Knowledge of Web-based interactive technologies including HTML, CSS, and CMS.
Knowledge of image and graphics software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Affects, and Dreamweaver.
Skill in web design typography, color, layout, graphics, and user interfacing.
Skill in communication both verbal and written.
Skill in Digital Publishing.
Ability to learn new software applications quickly and easily with little or no supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to maintain currency in Web related technologies, procedures, and techniques.
Ability to be detail oriented, self motivated and accepting of feedback.
