Saint Louis University a Catholic, Jesuit Institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service is seeking applicants for a board eligible/certified neurosurgeon with subspecialty fellowship training in pediatric neurosurgery for a faculty position. The position is a for an Associate Professor, tenure-track in the Department of Neurosurgery beginning July 1, 2015. The position will complement the existing 6 full-time faculty members within the department.
This is a is terrific opportunity for a candidate who has a strong desire in joining a rapidly growing pediatric neurosurgical service based at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center in Saint Louis, Missouri. Active clinical programs include surgical neuro-oncology, craniofacial surgery, endoscopy, epilepsy surgery and fetal myelomeningocele surgery. Commitment to teaching residents and medical students is required. Candidates with interest in strong clinical research and potential grant funding are preferred. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
