Under direction of the Director of Admissions, the Processing Coordinator will supervise the day to day processing of admissions applications, coordinate data entry, manage admissions processing, train new staff, and assist in determining residency on admissions applications. This position works closely with employees at all levels, students, parents, and the public.
Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree and two years professional experience in a related discipline or a combination of education and experience totaling four years.
Knowledge of data entry and management.
Knowledge of computerized student information systems.
Knowledge of residency requirements and international admissions.
Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures.
Knowledge of Banner, including reporting functions and tools
Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, developing and implementing new strategies.
Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
Ability to successfully supervise and evaluate others.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and scheduling work assignments.
