Our principal expectation for this position is to ensure that RISD's Board of Trustees operates at the highest levels of board governance. In addition, the holder of this position will: be responsible for coordinating, documenting, and implementing programs and projects for the Board of Trustees; serving as principal liaison for the Board of Trustees with the senior administration, faculty, student body, and alumni on matters of policy and procedure; designing and managing the systems that assure the security, accuracy and accessibility of the legal records of the Board; initiating actions and procedures to improve, strengthen and enhance the operations of the Board; and undertaking special assignments as directed by the President or Chair of the Board.
