Position: Assistant Professor of Counselor Education, Clinical Mental Health Counseling (Tenure Track)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Earned doctorate in counselor education and
    meet faculty requirements for teaching in a
    CACREP accredited program with a specialty
    in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (degree
    by date of hire)
  • Knowledge, skills, and training in CMHC
    curriculum and ability to provide clinical
    supervision to Master’s and doctoral level
    students
  • Experience and/or ability to teach campus
    and distance courses

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Broad-based experience serving varied
    populations of individuals with mental
    health problems
  • A record of research productivity
  • Work experience in clinical mental health
    counseling
  • Experience teaching as a faculty member,
    graduate teaching assistant, or doctoral
    intern within a counselor education program
  • National Certified Counselor, NCC

Responsibilities:
