Detailed Job Description

The Department of Communicative Disorders at The University of Alabama is searching for a tenure-track assistant professor effective August 2015. The successful candidate must have expertise in the areas of Adult Neurogenics. The ideal candidate should have a CCC-SLP and an earned doctorate.

Required qualifications include a Ph.D. in the related discipline. Strong ABD candidates will be considered for interview if degree is completed by start date. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting research and participating in departmental, college, and professional service. The Department of Communicative Disorders’ SLP program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
