Detailed Job Description

The Urban Studies Program at Wheaton College invites applications for a joint appointment in Urban Studies and a cognate discipline to begin in August 2012. Preference will be given to candidates who could be jointly appointed to either anthropology or economics; however, other areas of research and teaching will be considered. The successful candidate will also assist with the direction of urban experiential learning opportunities in Chicago. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and be committed to excellence in both teaching and research in a Christian liberal arts environment.
