The Department of Computer Science in the School of Mathematics and Sciences seeks to fill a fulltime, tenure track Assistant Professor faculty position to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as courses for non-majors. In addition, tasks such as academic advising, curriculum development and program assessment will be assigned. As a member of the Saint Rose faculty, the applicant is expected to teach assigned courses in accordance with relevant academic policies, produce scholarly work as evidence of professional advancement or accomplishment and serve the College’s communities through participation in School and College-wide committees and events.Requirements:
Applicants must possess an earned doctorate in Computer Science or a closely related field, and must have teaching experience at the college level. Candidates must be prepared to teach in at least one of these areas: systems administration, security, game design, database management systems, technical communication, software engineering.
