The College of Saint Rose Communications Department seeks to fill a full-time, Tenure Track, Assistant Professor of Communication faculty position to teach media arts and multimedia production courses in the College’s undergraduate and graduate Communications programs beginning Fall of 2015.
Administrative tasks such as academic advising, curriculum development and program assessment will be assigned. As a member of The College of Saint Rose faculty, the applicant is expected to teach assigned courses in accordance with relevant academic policies, engage in scholarship, and to serve the College’s communities through participation in Department, School and College-wide committees and internal and external events.Requirements:
The candidate must have an MFA or PH.D. (earned by June 30, 2015) in media arts/practice; television, audio, and /or video production, or a closely related Communications field. Candidates must have a strong theoretical or conceptual background to complement production expertise, documented experience in radio, TV, Video and/or a minimum of one year teaching at the college level.
