The School of Music has approximately 60 faculty members, 350 undergraduates, and 180 graduate students. The school offers a broad selection of degrees from the baccalaureate to the doctoral level and has a strong commitment to reaching a broad, diverse student population across a large campus.
Responsibilities: Teach courses in music education, advise students, and serve on graduate committees. Maintain an active program of research and provide service and leadership at the school, college, university, and professional levels. This is a regular nine-month appointment with tenure, beginning August 2015.
Required Qualifications: The successful candidate will have an established national or international reputation as a leading scholar in the field of music education with an outstanding body of scholarship, a record of excellence in teaching, and evidence of high-quality service to the field.
