Detailed Job Description
The Program Assistant- Business Division, School of Business and Law, is responsible for administrative functions, clerical and marketing support services to the Instructional Specialist, faculty, and staff.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of one year office and intermediate graphic design experience: Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat and Adobe Premier.
Ability to work with very minimal supervision in the absence of supervisors and administrators.
Demonstrated customer service, problem solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, proofreading and editing skills.
Ability to learn college operations, resources availability, etc.
Attention to details, deadlines and accuracy of information disseminated.
Ability to type accurately using word processing software. Demonstrated computer skills, using a variety of software packages. Proficiency in Windows-based software and voicemail preferred.
Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with students, faculty, administrators, government agencies, business/industry representatives, community organizations, the general public.
