Detailed Job Description
Miami University and its Farmer School of Business, assisted by the Aspen Leadership Group, seek a proven fundraising leader with a passion for higher education to serve as Senior Director of Development. The Senior Director, based in Oxford, Ohio, will oversee a staff of three and advance the mission of Miami University by planning, organizing, and implementing strategies to increase the personal involvement and financial commitment of donors and prospective donors, with particular emphasis on strategies designed to increase philanthropic and volunteer support for the Farmer School of Business.

Matt Myers, Dean and Mitchell P. Rales Chair in Business Leadership of the Farmer School of Business, assumed his role in the summer of 2014. The Senior Director will be an important partner in achieving the Dean's and the School's principal objectives.
A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of professional fundraising or comparable experience are required. Strong candidates will have seven or more years of professional experience, proven skills in managing a development team in an educational environment, and an advanced degree.
