Detailed Job Description
Teach graduate and undergraduate social work courses; advise students; develop a research and publications agenda; seek external grant funding; be engaged at the departmental and external levels; and contribute to social work curriculum development in the MASW and BSW programs.
An earned doctorate in social work or a related field. An MSW degree and the ability and interest in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. History of or potential for external funding; active engagement in community and professional service; and knowledge of or experience working with multicultural populations. Established record of scholarly contributions in social work or a related field is expected at the associate professor level.
University teaching experience; leadership experience in social work education programs; record of successful external funding; experience in a multidisciplinary academic environment; and experience with online teaching. Active engagement in community and professional service.
