Detailed Job Description

Under daily supervision, the Asset Management Technician's role is to assist with the life cycle management of College hardware and software assets including receiving, inventory and retirement of assets. The Asset Management Technician will also act as a back-up Technical Call Center Representative during peak call-volume periods and in emergency situations.  

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency.
Valid driver's license and a good driving record (less than 3 points).
Minimum of one year's experience in desktop support, asset management and/or technical call center.
Experience using a call logging system such as FrontRange Heat.
Knowledge of basic computer hardware including desktops, handheld devices, printers and monitors.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals, with or without reasonable accommodations.  

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, Android and iOS.
Experience with using a variety of applications including Microsoft Office.
