This is an on call position. Hours will vary dependent on work flow. A majority of the hours will be after 5 and/ or on weekends. Assists and coordinates operations in a radio and/or television station/studio. May produce or direct broadcast programming and/or video productions. May generate, edit, and review program logs. May operate cameras, perform audio mixing, operate video tapes and video control, creates graphics, and setup and strike equipment. May also function as a technical director and/or stage manager. Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree or any combination of education and/or full-time experience related to the summary of duties totaling two years.
Knowledge of general production techniques.
Skilled in the following activities:
- camera operation
- audio mixing
- video tape operation
- video control
- setup/strike of equipment
- technical directing and stage manager
