For fall of 2012, Wheaton College is seeking applicants for a one-year visiting professor position, rank open, in the department’s APA accredited Psy.D. program in Clinical Psychology. We encourage applications from all groups underrepresented in higher education, including women and ethnic and racial minorities. The successful applicant will be eligible to apply for a tenure-track appointment anticipated for the following year.
Candidates must have a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or an allied field, and be licensed or license-eligible in Illinois. The ability to teach graduate-level courses in assessment (cognitive, personality) is essential. In addition to teaching, duties will include practicum seminar supervision and service on program subcommittees. College teaching experience and an ongoing track record of scholarship are both highly desirable.
